One of a pair of male and female hook-and-loop fastener tapes formed in strips is secured to the edges of openings in a case 10 separated into two parts, e.g. a case main body and a lid, and, with the openings joined together, the other hook-and-loop fastener tape is bonded across the edge to close the case 10. The hook-and-loop fastener tape wound on the edge of the case 10 is held in the form of a belt by bonding an elastic sheet 23 thereto, and the sealing performance of the case 10 is enhanced by forming thick projecting parts on both sides of the bonding surface of the tape.
