Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a clamp mechanism which can prevent processing liquid in a processing tank for an electric discharge machining device from leaking out.
CONSTITUTION: This clamp mechanism is provided with a machining tank 1 with an open part all over, a door 10 for opening and closing an open part in the machining tank 1, and a clamp mechanism for pressing the door 10 against the machining tank 1 side and holding it. This clamp mechanism consists of an arm 30 mounted so as to rotate smoothly, an engagement fitting 45 which is mounted onto the door 10 and is engaged with the arm 30, a weight 34 which is mounted onto the arm 30 and works on in the clamp direction, and an unclamp mechanism 38 which makes the arm 30 work on in the open direction by the engagement fitting 45.
