Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the second unfastening of a clamp screw after clamping, by forming a portion for transmitting the revolution of a screw head to a screw body so that the portion be liberated prior to other portions when clamping torque exceeds a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:In a clamping screw consisting of a screw body 8, to which screw threads 82 are shaped, a screw head 10 turned by means of a tool and a portion for transmitting the revolution of the screw head 10 to the screw body 8, said transmission portion is formed in shapes such as a constricted portion 9 to ensure that said portion 9 be cut prior to other portions when clamping torque exceeds a fixed value. Consequently, the constricted portion 9 is broken prior to the screw threads 82 when the screw head 10 is turned by means of a spanner, etc. and clamping torque surpasses one sufficient for fixing, and turning effort is not transmitted to the screw threads 82, thus preventing the second unfastening of the clamping screw after clamping.
