To uniformly carry out nailing work and to reinforce a resistant force against a force in the coming off direction by providing nailing legs in both ends and forming a nail into an L-shape.
When a clamp type nail is supported and its head 15 is driven in the arrow A direction, the first leg 16 is inserted in the slanting arrow B direction while increasing its tilting angle. In this process, the tip of the second leg 20 is lowered in the arrow C direction along a vertical face 36 of a wood member B32 so as to be driven inward as shown by a dotted line without biting in the wood member B32. After a nail main body is driven in this way, the nail main body driving direction is switched to the arrow D direction, so that the nail main body is bent in the middle while the second leg 20 is driven in the wood member B32 in an arc as shown by a dotted line. Since a coming off preventing projection 24 is arranged in the second leg 20, a wood member A30 and the wood B32 are firmly fixed to each other while applying mutually connecting directional force to each other by means of the first leg 16 crossing the nail main body diagonally and the second leg 20 formed into an arc.
