PURPOSE: To obtain a clamp capable of clamping simply in a short period of time by a method wherein the clamp is constituted of a strut and arms having a shape memory function.

CONSTITUTION: A clamp 5 is provided with a strut 8 and arms 7, projected from the strut 8, while the strut 8 is provided with flexibility. The arm is constituted of a shape memory material having a shape memory to clamp a member to be clamped so as to clamp the same along the trunk of the strut 8. Clamping may be effected by a method wherein the arms 7 are expanded to put a wiring wire or the like on and, thereafter, the shapes of the arms 7 are changed to the stored shape of the shape memory material.
