PURPOSE: To provide a clamp which can transfer architectural member at free posture regardless of the horizontal direction or the vertical direction.

CONSTITUTION: A hold section 1 of an architectural member is formed into a U-shape by an upper horizontal piece 1b and a lower horizontal piece 1c which protrude from both upper and lower ends of a longitudinal piece 1a. Lock mechanism mounting plates 2 form a pair and are erected in parallel with the upper horizontal piece. A rising and falling arm 5 is pivotally attached to one end of the lock mechanism mounting plate 2 in such a way that it can turn freely. Furthermore, a lock piece 3 is attached at a center of the lock mechanism mounting plate 2 in such a manner that it can turn freely. One end of the lock piece 3 is an architectural member pressing section, and a hoisting ring 4 is attached to the other end thereof in such a manner that it can turn freely. A lock spring 9 which connects the lock piece 3 with the rising and falling arm 5 elastically is stretched and provided between them.
