Title:
CLAMPING DEVICE FOR FORK-LIFT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2616326
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a clamping device by which a profile is reliably held and a simple and safe conveying work is executed.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of left and right expansion arms 3L and 3R are laterally expandably disposed to a body frame 1. The central parts of stabilizers 5L and 5R having both ends protruded inward are rockably within a vertical surface mounted on the inner lower ends of the expandable arms 3L and 3R and the central parts of finger members 6L and 6R having two ends protruded inward are mounted in an oscillating manner within a horizontal plane to the two ends of the stabilizers 5L and 5R. When a profile A is nipped between finger members 6L and 6R, the ends on both sides of the finger members 6L and 6R are brought into coincident contact with the surface shape of the profile A formed in an uneven surface since the stabilizers 5L and 5R are rocked within a vertical surface and the finger members 6L and 6R are oscillated within a horizontal plane, and each contact part holds the profile A by means of an uniformly dispersed contact force.
