The clamping device for processing of workpieces comprises at least one first clamp element and at least one second clamp element, between which a workpiece is held, wherein a tool is movable relative to the workpiece, wherein the first clamp element is in the form of a clamp finger (1, 24) and engages on the face of the workpiece (3) which is the face upon which the tool (5) acts, and further, that the second clamp element is in the form of a clamp roller (2) and lies against the workpiece (4) on the face opposite to the tool (5).
