PURPOSE: To improve the durability by relaxing the force to be transferred to an operating shaft or a clamping member, compared with the force applied to an operating handle, even when the operating handle is grasped stronger than necessary.

CONSTITUTION: The forceps is provided with a supporting part 13 for supporting an opening/closing operation flucrum part 25 for supporting so as to be freely openable and closeable between handles 10, 11, so as to be movable between a use position and a moving position deviated from this use position, and also, provided with a leaf spring 31 for always energizing the opening/closing operation flucrum part 25 to a state for holding it in a use position.
