PURPOSE: To improve the workability of the mounting of a roof tile by forming a nail section at one end of a rod-shaped member while mounting an engaging section such as a screw, with which an engaging member such as a nut is engaged, and a nail driving section having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the engaging section, on the other end side.
CONSTITUTION: When a crown tile 70 and long thin ridge tiles 72 are installed, nuts 18 (18a, 18b) are screwed to a screw 12 and the tiles are fixed, thus preventing the cracking of the tiles. Since the diameter of a nail driving section 14 is made smaller than the screw 12, the nuts 18 can be screwed to the screw 12 from the driving section 14 side, and the nuts 18 need not be screwed previously to the screw 12 while there is no possibility that the tiles are damaged by the driving of the nuts 18 at the time of driving operation. Tiles piled up to sections upper than a clamping jig 19 are fastened by a wire 15 retained to a hole section formed to the nail driving section 14. The jig 19 is fixed firmly to a fixing member such as a ridge piece 75 by a slipping-off stop section 16 formed to a nail section 10. Accordingly, the tiles can be fastened easily and surely without being damaged, and can be executed efficiently.
