To secure a simple and inexpensive structure by arranging a coil spring so that each coil part is substantially in parallel with a workpiece in clamping a plurality of workpieces set substantially in parallel, and pushing each work in between the coil parts, thereby carrying out the cramping.
A cramp device 1 has a base 3 arranged on a rest 2, a coil spring 4 disposed ahead of the base 3 and a printed board retainer 5 fixed onto the upper surface of the base 3. The coil spring 4 is formed of a tensile coil spring having a specified number of winding turns, and a gap K is formed ahead of each coil part 4a. In the spring 4 hook parts 6, 9 are locked with a pair of spring mounting plates 8, 12, and the size L of the gap K is set smaller than the outer dia. T of lead 35 to be clamped. Clamping is thus made after the workpiece 35 is pushed in between the coil parts 4a.
