Title:
CLAMPING SYSTEM WITH FOLDABLE TABS FOR CONNECTING TUBES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019190663
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a clamping system capable of controlling the retention in a pre-mounted state relative to a clamping surface of one of tubes that are to be clamped.SOLUTION: The clamping system comprises a collar (10) that includes a belt (12) suitable for being clamped around clamping surfaces (18, 20) projecting from tubes. The collar includes a series of angularly distributed foldable fingers (22), each finger having a free operating end (23) projecting axially beyond a first edge (13'A) of the belt (12) over a distance that is sufficient to enable the finger to be manipulated manually. Starting from an initial position in which the fingers define a rest minimum diameter (DI), the fingers are suitable for being folded manually and plastically toward an axis (A) of the belt in order to define a folded-in minimum diameter (DR) that is smaller than the rest minimum diameter (DI).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
