Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a bearing cap with out being accompanied with a play, and ensure a proper function of a bearing in operation by eliminating the clearance between the cap and an engaging surface.
SOLUTION: This bearing has a cap 20 including two legs 22 and two flanges 21. The flanges 21 can be fastened to a bed plate 1 by a fastener 7, and the legs 22 can be pressed onto the bearing shell 10 of the bed plate in a joint 210. The bearing has a side recessed part 23 within the cap 20 between each leg 22 and the flange 21 accompanying this leg 22. The two legs 22 are extended by the recessed part 23 and the force of the fastener 7, and couples P, P' are worked onto the two legs 22 so as to deflect each end of the two legs 22 from the center of the bearing to the outside.
