Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classifier with a dryer in which waste can be accurately classified into combustible refuse and noncombustible refuse without upsizing equipment and increasing costs.
SOLUTION: Waste fed into a rotary drum 2 is dried by hot air fed into the rotary drum 2 to separate noncombustibles adsorbed on combustibles. From sieve openings 10 provided on the downstream side of the rotary drum 2, noncombustibles in the waste are discharged to outside the rotary drum 2, and they are recovered through a noncombustibles discharge chute 12, and combustibles remaining in the rotary drum 2 are recovered through a combustibles recovery chute 13.
