PURPOSE: To prevent the contamination of air by unclean work and to make the assembly of a clean room wall system easier by wedging a wall member composed of wall elements between two surfaces and supporting the wall elements at prescribed positions with bolts and nuts by adapting friction.

CONSTITUTION: The peripheral frame of a panel 11 is formed by surrounding the panel with frame members 12, 13, 14, and 15 on four sides of the panel 11. An interlocking receiving channel 16 is attached to the right frame member 14 with a rivet 17. Then the corners 29 of the frame surrounding the panel 11 are formed by connecting the end sections of the frame members 12-15 to L-shaped clips. A wall member used for a permanent wall is wedged between the ceiling 3 and floor 2 of a clean room with nuts 19 and bolts 18.
