Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use a Western style toilet stool having a toilet seat and a cover clean by providing springs for energizing the toilet seat in a spring-up direction, namely, so as to mutually join the toilet seat and the cover when the cover is opened upward. CONSTITUTION: When a cover 3 is sprung up to a position 3' by a hand, it is stopped by moving the center of gravity to the back of a pivot 4. The strength of a spring 6 is leveled not to take up the toilet seat 2 away from suckers 5 and 5 or not to let the cover 3 fall, and the toilet seat 2 receives the spring-up power of the spring 6 but is still adsorbed at the edge of the toilet stool. However, air gradually infiltrates into the suckers 5 and 5 soon, the suckers 5 and 5 get away from the edge of the toilet stool, and the toilet seat 2 is sprung up by energy stored at the spring 6. After a user opens the cover 3 and defecates while sitting on the toilet seat 2 or after a woman have a wash and leaves the toilet stool, the toilet seat 2 is automatically sprung up by the operation of the spring 6 after the lapse of several seconds, for example, namely, the toilet seat 2 is sprung up without taking it with a hand and a man can urinate.
