To provide a cleaner for an electric furnace by-product gas recovery duct for removing dust accumulating inside a gas duct ranging from a precooling tower to a venturi scrubber without stopping operation of an electric furnace when dust is removed from by-product gas generated during reduction refining of iron alloy and the like by a dust remover including the venturi scrubber.
A transverse duct accumulative duct cleaning lance 23, which is inserted into a transverse duct via a gas seal part to be moved forward and backward and provided with high pressure water supply part at the base end and a high pressure water jet nozzle 22 at the front end, is installed at the end part on a gas outlet side of the transverse duct 4 ranging from the precooling cleaning tower 4 to the venturi scrubber 6. A vertical duct accumulative dust cleaning lance 33, which is inserted into the vertical duct ranging from the transverse duct to the venturi scrubber via a gas seal part movably forward/backward and provided with a high pressure supply part at the base end and a high pressure water jet nozzle 32 at the front end, is installed just above the venturi scrubber installation part of the transverse duct.
