Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency in removal of toner with a brush roller, in a cleaner having the brush roller which abuts on the surface of an electrifying roller and removes toner sticking to the surface, thereby cleaning the surface.
SOLUTION: The fiber of the brush 20 of the brush roller 12A which abuts on the surface of the electrifying roller 2 is made of a material which is frictionally electrified by the contact of it with the surface of the electrifying roller 2 so that the fiber has the reverse polarity of electrified toner on the electrifying roller 2.
