To provide a cleaner capable of sucking both solid particles each having a dried surface and liquid matter into an air stream and separating the solid particles and liquid matter from the air stream into which the solid particles and liquid matter are sucked.

This cleaner is provided with: at least one suction device which is connected to an external suction duct and used for sucking a fluid into the cleaner main body; and a solid particle collection means which is placed between the external suction duct and the suction device and used for collecting solid particles in liquid matter. In the cleaner, the solid particle collection means is provided with: at least one mixing chamber 4 containing at least a small amount of a liquid; and a means 6 for generating turbulence in the mixing chamber 4; wherein the gas phase above the free surface of the liquid in the mixing chamber 4 is saturated with the vapor evaporated from the liquid.
