The cleaner 1 comprises at least one of a multilayer knitted fabric, a multilayer woven fabric and a cloth coated with foams. The cleaner 1 has a quadrilateral periphery and includes the following components: a pair of washing faces 5 and 7 whose peripheries are overlapped; a pair of long sides 3a and a pair of short sides 3b which form the quadrilateral peripheries of the washing faces 5 and 7; a compression line 9 which is formed by sewing or fusion bonding the pair of washing faces 5 and 7 and which is arranged inside a region surrounded by the periphery so as to extend in a longitudinal direction of the short sides 3b; and non-compression parts 10 provided between both ends 9a of the compression line 9 and the long sides 3a. The cleaner 1 makes it possible to improve usability when removing the soil with high viscosity.
