PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for cleaning bathtub water which can be installed even in a small bath room and is easy of maintenance and inexpensive in running costs.

CONSTITUTION: An operation display 18 having an independent battery power source 28 is connected with a communication line 26 and an apparatus body 17 through a communication unit 25. A power source switching device 29 which is turned on by a power source supply signal based on the manual operation of a power source supply starting device 24 or the power source supply signal of the apparatus body and is turned off by an electricity saving signal which is emitted when the action of a control 19 is stabilized, or nobody is in a bath room and an action display is discriminated to be unnecessary is installed in the operation display 18. In this way, the operation display can be connected with the apparatus body which is separated far from the bath room by only a thin communication line so that the unnecessary consumption of the battery power source can be prevented by saving electricity.
