To provide a cleaning apparatus and its method which spray odor eliminating aphotic catalyst dilute solution or tourmaline on the laundry efficiently and can use water which is activated by a tourmaline ore.

This cleaning apparatus has an inverter motor which can rotate positively and negatively and control rotation speed, a rotary drum which is connected to the inverter motor and where the laundry is thrown in, a tank where aphotic catalyst dilute solution or tourmaline is stored, a nozzle which sprays the aphotic catalyst dilute solution or the tourmaline, and a pump which sends the aphotic catalyst dilute solution or the tourmaline to the nozzle. It sprays the required amount of the aphotic catalyst dilute solution or the tourmaline on the laundry as a shower, gives slow rotation which has weaker centrifugal force than the weight of the laundry or slow rotation which adds inversion at intervals to the rotary drum.
