Title:
CLEANING APPARATUS OF MOLTEN METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014080663
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To remove a contaminant such as H2 and an oxide particle by only inactive gas with high efficiency without using a flux.

A cleaning apparatus 1 of a molten metal includes a rotor 4 that is connected to a lower end part of a rotation axis 3 extending in a vertical direction, and is rotatable accompanied by rotation of a rotation axis 3, wherein a gas passage 14 to supply inactive gas to a rotor 4 is formed in a rotation axis 3, and inactive gas is discharged from a rotor 4 into a molten metal to clean a molten metal. Two or more passages 16 that communicate with a gas passage 14, and extend from a central part to an outer peripheral end of a rotor 4, and in which inactive gas passes are formed in a rotor 4, by rotation of a rotor 4, inactive gas passes in the two or more passages 16, and a small air bubble and a large air bubble in which a diameter is larger than that of the small air bubble of inactive gas are discharged from an outer peripheral end of a rotor 4 into molten metal.
