To provide a cleaning brush which has a narrow width, can brush dirt away from an object to be cleaned, such as a spout nozzle of a toilet seat with bidet that is easily soiled with persistent dirt, can clean each part of the object to be cleaned, and provides better cleaning efficiently, and to provide a case for housing the cleaning brush therein.

A brush element 2 of a cleaning brush 1 is constituted by holding a number of evenly cut cords 22 between two wires making up a core 21, putting the two wires of the core 21 together and twisting them to arrange the cords 22 radially around the axis of the core 21, bending the core 21 into a U-shape, and inserting both ends of the core into the front end of a handle 3. Between a fitting portion of the brush element 2 of the handle 3 and an approximate center of the brush element 2, two parts of the U-shaped core 21 are set parallel with each other. The core 21, however, is bent at its approximate center to make a given angle against the axis of the handle 3 so that an insertion hole 23, in which a spout nozzle of a toilet seat with bidet can be inserted, is formed on the front end side of the brush element 2.
