Abstract:
To reduce effort and cost for production, installation work and maintenance of a coil wire rod cleaning device, and suppress occurrence of yellow rust.SOLUTION: A coil wire rod cleaning device has a cleaning tank, a shutter mechanism, a coil rotation mechanism, a cleaning mechanism and a frame. The shutter mechanism has: a guide rail that is formed in an arcuate shape with its bottom opening, and is attached to a short-side side wall of the cleaning tank; a pair of cover materials that is formed on a substantially 1/4 cylinder shape and is installed across the guide rail; and a shutter drive part that moves the cover materials along the guide rail. The cleaning mechanism has: an inner surface shower tube that is parallel to a rotation arm and is provided with a nozzle toward an inner surface direction of the coil wire rod; an outer surface shower tube that is installed on a cover material inner surface and is provided with a nozzle toward an outer surface direction of the coil wire rod; and a shower tube travel drive part that moves the inner surface shower tube in a coil axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
