To provide a cleaning device capable of efficiently cleaning dogged stain adhering to a fiber product and a cleaning method for a fiber product using the cleaning device.

A cleaning device for a fiber product comprises a head part 1b to which a cleaning brush 3 is attached and a grip part 1a connected thereto. In the head part 1b, a motor 2 with an eccentric cam 6 having an eccentric cam ratio 1:1.5 to 1:5, vibration frequency of 30 to 400 Hz, vibration amplitude of 20 to 2000 μm is housed. In the grip part 1a, a battery 4 as a driving power source for driving the motor with the eccentric cam is housed. The cleaning brush 3 is mounted on the open end face of the head part 1b. A shock absorbing part made of an elastic material for sound insulation and vibration isolation is formed between the grip part 1a and the head part 1b so that the grip part 1a is connected to the head part 1b through the shock absorbing part. Further, upon cleaning, cleaning liquid containing 0.05 to 60% nonion surface active agent of HLB7 to 15 is used.
