Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the soiling of a recording paper from occurrence due to the toner sticking on an oil spreading roller inversely transferred on the recording paper through the heating roller by arranging a cleaning means in a state of contact on the oil applying means.
CONSTITUTION: An oil supplying device 7 is constituted so that the occurrence of the transfer of the toner from the recording paper P side (offsetting) is prevented by composing the oil film on a heating roller 3. However, the trace amount of the offsetting is actually caused, as it is actually difficult to completely prevent the offsetting even through the oil is applied. Acoordingly, when the trace amount of the offsetting toner stuck on the fixing roller is transferred to an oil applying means 20, for cleaning it, the cleaning means 21 is brought into contact with the oil applying means 20. In this way, the toner stuck on the oil applying means 20 is directly removed by a cleaning means 21, therefore the dirt sticking on the recording paper P, caused by the toner inversely transferred to the heating roller 3 from the oil applying means 20, can be prevented.
