A recovery roller 103 has a portion 103a having a reduced biting amount, where a biting amount with respect to a cleaning brush 102 is smaller than in other portion. By assembling the recovery roller in such a manner that the portion having a reduced biting amount opposes to the cleaning brush, falling of bristles of the cleaning brush in a contact portion with a counter roller can be controlled to be decreased during transportation of the device, than the degree of falling of bristles by the contact with a true circle portion, which is out of the portion having a reduced biting amount, of the recovery roller.
