PURPOSE: To provide a cleaning device capable of attaining excellent cleaning by preventing the falling off of the fibers of a brush and recovering a developer scrapped from an image carrier, without requiring a special recovering mechanism and an image forming device provided with the cleaning device.

CONSTITUTION: The cleaning device is constituted to provide a fur brush roll 13 provided with a fur brush part 13b having fiber flocked structure in a loop pile shape on the periphery and a helical groove part 16 formed on the fur brush part 13b and scrapping the developer remaining on a photosensitive drum 1 by the rotation of the fur brush part 13b and carrying the developer in an axial direction by the groove part 16, after a developer image is transferred by a transfer charger 5, and a cleaning blade 14 abutting on the drum 1, to scrape/remove the developer remaining without being removed by the fur brush roll 13.
