To provide a cleaning device repeatedly and certainly removing and cleaning a paste deposited on a peripheral part of a paste delivery port for a long period of time by preventing swelling of an elastic body constituting a cleaning means and oozing out of the paste and a solvent from the elastic body in a cleaning method in which a wiping out member wetted by the solvent is pressed to the peripheral part of the paste delivery port of a coating head by the elastic body, the coating head and the wiping out member are relatively slid and a contaminant such as the deposited paste is wiped off, and a method for the same, and a paste coating device and a coating method using the cleaning device and the cleaning method.
The cleaning device is provided with the coating head having the paste delivery port; the wiping out member wetted by the solvent; the elastic body for pressing the wiping out member; and a movement slide means for relatively moving and sliding at least one of the coating head or the wiping out member. A means for preventing permeation of the paste and the solvent is provided between the wiping out member and the elastic body.
