To remove strongly fixed dirt from a card by applying the moving card with a washing liquid by a washing liquid coating means, wiping the washing liquid by a wiping means later and curving a card carrying path near the wiping means.

A driven roller 10 provided on a case 2 so as to be freely rotated is faced to a driven roller 11 provided on a case 3 so as to be freely rotated, and one part of the driven roller 11 is put into a container 13 and immersed in a washing liquid 12 inside the container 13. Then, the card moving on a card carrying path 100 is applied with that washing liquid 12 and afterwards, the surface of the card is wiped by a wiping member 14 provided on the case 2 and a wiping member 15 provided on the case 3. At such a time, a curved part (w) for curving the card carrying path 100 is provided near the respective wiping members 14 and 15. Thus, strongly fixed dirt can be removed from the card.
