To facilitate set and removal of a cleaning member and cleaning of corner spaces, enable disposal of used cleaning member without touching without it, and facilitate washing of the cleaning device after use.

The cleaning device has a main body 21 to the tip end of which a fitting member 30 is fixed, around that a square-tube like cleaning member 40 is fitted. The main body 21 has a handle fixture 22, a guide frame 24 attached to the front part of the handle fixture 22 and a handle 26 fixed to the handle fixture 22 freely rotatably. The fitting member 30 has a polygonal section, and it is fixed to the tip end of the handle 26 in the guide frame 24 to rotate together with rotation of the handle 26. The length of the diagonals of the fitting member 30 is determined to press the inner surface of the cleaning member 40 at a rotated position to hold the cleaning member 40 between the fitting member 30 and the guide frame 24, and is loosely housed in the cleaning member 40 at another rotated position.
