To provide a cleaning implement with which an oil-containing stain stuck to an article to be cleaned such as a cooking utensil is easily removed.

The cleaning implement 1 includes a sheet-like nonwoven fabric 3, an abrasive layer 2 containing abrasives with Mohs hardness of 9 and formed on one surface of the nonwoven fabric 3 in an island shape, and a washing layer 4 formed so as to cover the abrasive layer 2. The abrasive layer 2 is formed by mixing the abrasives and an adhesive and applying it on one surface of the nonwoven fabric 3, and the washing layer 4 is formed by applying and drying the solution of mixture of a surfactant and a binder. When the cleaning implement 1 is used, when it is immersed in water or the like and stains are scrubbed off, the oil of the stains is removed by the surfactant of the washing layer 4, and the stains are easily removed by the abrasives included in the abrasive layer 2.
