The cleaning implement is composed of: a cleaning implement main body where a rotary shaft 2 rotatable in a horizontal direction projects upward; the handle 2 fitted to the rotary shaft 12 of the main body 1; an acting member 3 connected to the rotary shaft 12 of the main body 1 and acting on the rotary shaft 12 to move the main body 1; and an elastic body 4 biasing the acting member 3 in a direction opposite to an acting direction to the rotary shaft 12 of the main body 1. A projecting structure is formed at one of the main body 1 or the handle 2, and a recessed structure is formed at the other to fit the projecting structure into the recessed structure, or a recessed and projecting structure is formed at each of the main body 1 and the handle 2 to have a recessed and projecting fitting structure fitting each other.
