Title:
CLEANING LIQUID FOR CATIONICALLY POLYMERIZABLE, PHOTOCURABLE INK AND METHOD FOR CLEANING INKJET PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004182875
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cleaning liquid for a cationically polymerizable, photocurable ink that produces an excellent effect in cleaning the cationically polymerizable, photocurable ink and to provide a method for cleaning an inkjet printer.

The cleaning liquid for the cationically polymerizable, photocurable ink comprises a basic substance. As the basic substance, a compound having at least one of an ether linkage and an ester linkage is preferable. Upon cleaning the inkjet printer with use of the cleaning liquid for the cationically polymerizable, photocurable ink, the inkjet printer is coated with the cleaning liquid. Accordingly, when the cationically polymerizable, photocurable ink adheres to the inkjet printer, the cleaning liquid inhibits the cationically polymerizable, photocurable ink from being cured with the result that the adhered ink can be easily removed.
