To provide a cleaning method of organic sewage capable of activating sludge so as to stabilize a state of sewage and maintain the constant state.
Waste water is processed by a screen, solid residue such as foreign matter is removed and sewage is produced. Flow rate of feed water of sewage from which the solid residue is removed is adjusted and is stored as sewage of high concentration. Further, oxygen or oxygen and ozone is added to sewage of which the flow rate is adjusted and return sludge in a sludge reduction tank 3, sludge is stirred, thereby, water quality of sewage is stabilized and the constant state is maintained. Air is supplied to the sewage to which the constant state maintaining processing is applied, the sewage is aerated and activated and, thereby, solid-liquid separation of the sewage is performed. As regards the sewage subjected to the separation, supernatant separated liquid is released as clean water, on the other hand, a part of separated sludge is stored in an excessive sludge tank, further, a part of separated sludge is returned to the sludge reduction tank as return sludge and, as the result, water quality of the sewage is improved.
