The cleaning method of the rubber vulcanizing mold contaminated by use includes a heating process A for heating the mold to at least 170°C, a decomposing process B for heating an organic solvent with a boiling point of 200°C or above to 150-170°C to spray the same on the heated mold and/or spraying steam on the heated mold to decompose a contaminant and a removing process C for removing the decomposed contaminant.
