Abstract:
To provide a cleaning method for steel belt, which permits deviated wear of brush rolls to be prevented effectively all over the range of threading speeds.
The cleaning method is applied to cleaning a steel belt 1 with a steel belt cleaning equipment which has brush rolls 2. The steel belt is fed into the steel belt cleaning equipment with the steel belt oscillated in the cross direction in a range where an oscillation speed rate X defined by the following expression satisfies 1≤X≤100. Expression: X=Vo/(Va-Vb)×106 Where, Vo: Oscillation speed (mpm), Va: Passing speed of steel belt (mpm), Vb: Rotating speed of brush rolls (mpm) nik.
