Abstract:
PURPOSE: To properly carry out cleaning and regenerating work for a filter medium corresponding to operating conditions and to enlarge the size of a filter bath in order to make maintenance easy and lower the construction cost of the apparatus and building.
CONSTITUTION: Regarding a filtering apparatus for which a floating filter medium is used, a filtering bath 1 and a separating bath 8 for filter medium cleaning and separation are installed separately and a fouled filter medium 2 is drawn by a pump 12 for filthy water drawing through the separating bath 8 and the filthy water is discharged out of the system and the resulting cleaned filter medium 2 is returned to the filtering bath and is used again.
