Abstract:

To provide a cleaning robot that can prevent a collision with an obstacle.

A cleaning robot includes a main body travelling on a floor, and a first sub-cleaning tool and a second sub-cleaning tool mounted at left and right sides of the main body relative to the main body so as to be protruded from the inside to the outside of the main body and selectively performing cleaning. For example, when the cleaning robot turns left along a detected obstacle, the first sub-cleaning tool on the left side in the travelling direction of the main body is inserted into the main body. Thus, it is possible to prevent a collision between a corner part of the obstacle and a first auxiliary brush when the cleaning robot turns left.
