This cleaning robot, which makes assemblability and disassemblability proper in order to enhance the maintainability, comprises a motor fan 24 which generates a suction wind, a dust collecting chamber 30 wherein dust is collected, a suction part 27 which has a suction opening for taking in the dust, a traveling means 58 which has a driving function, a lower frame body 21 which is equipped with a battery 49 for a power source, whose upper part is provided with the motor fan 24 and whose lower part is provided with the suction part 27, a middle frame body 22 which is disposed above the frame body 21 and whose lower part has at least one of the motor fan 24, the chamber 30 and the battery 49, and an upper frame body 23 which forms an outer hull of the main body 20 in such a manner as to cover both of the frame bodies 22 and 21.
