Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning robot that can improve a dust collecting capability and can prevent a running abnormality.SOLUTION: A cleaning robot comprises: a body case 2 in which a suction port 6 that faces a floor surface F is open in a bottom surface; a pair of driving wheels 29 that include horizontal rotating shafts 29a and allow the body case 2 to run by itself; a front wheel 27 arranged at the front in a traveling direction at the time of cleaning with respect to the driving wheels 29; and a rear wheel 26 arranged at the rear in the traveling direction at the time of cleaning with respect to the driving wheels 29. The suction port 6 is arranged between the front wheel 27 and the driving wheels 29. When the body case runs by itself on the flat floor surface F, the front wheel 27 moves away from the floor surface and the driving wheels 29 and the rear wheel 26 come into contact with the floor surface.
