To provide a cleaning sheet which is suitable for cleaning a slit opening part such as a drain port and an object face with a mesh opening part such as a screen, especially suitable for cleaning the screen.

A stream interlacing is applied on a fiber web containing a thermal contracting fiber with at least 50% of maximum thermal contraction rate and a non-heat contracting fiber which does not substantially contract under a temperature at which the thermal contraction fiber contracts to mutually interlace the fibers. Then, the web is heated to contract the thermal contraction fiber to form a number of irregular wrinkles on the surface of the nonwoven fabric. Thus a cleaning sheet suitable for wiping an object face with an opening part is obtained.
