PURPOSE: To improve the amt. of holding a silicone oil, a cleaning effect and life by laminating respectively at least one layer of non-woven fabric layers consisting of cloth webs and parallel web layers consisting of heat resistant fibers and integrally forming these layers by heating and welding.

CONSTITUTION: The parallel web layers 2 formed by mixing the heat resistant fibers, such as arom. polyamide fibers, 4-6 nylon or carbon fibers, and thermoplastic binder fibers having the m. p. lower than the m. p. of the heat resistant fibers and the non-woven fabric layers 1 formed of the cross web layers consisting of the heat resistant fibers, such as arom. polyamide fibers, 4-6 nylon or carbon fibers confounded and bonded by a water flow confounding method are laminated and integrated by heating and fixing. The cross web layers 1, therefore, have many fine pores and since the binder fibers and resin binders to serve as the binders between the fibers are not used, the layers have many gaps and have the high contact resistance with a fixing roll. The required strength is obtd. with the parallel web layers 2 at the time of winding the layers by a prescribed amt. on a core body. The amt. of holding the silicone oil, the cleaning effect and the life are improved in this way.
