To provide a cleaning system capable of cleaning a periphery of an automobile automatically and safely in the outdoors.SOLUTION: A cleaning system includes an automobile comprising: a housing part that houses a self- propelled cleaning device; a cleaning determination part 33 that determines whether cleaning is possible for a road surface in the vicinity of the automobile; and a cleaning device control part 34 that when the cleaning determination part 33 determines that cleaning is possible, makes the self- propelled cleaning device advance from the housing part and perform cleaning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
