Abstract:

To obtain a desired bending angle by eliminating an offset of metal die and by preventing fracture of die holder and/or fracture of the die through a complete removal of dregs adhered to shoulder area, inner face and bottom face of die holder fixing groove.

A cleaning method uses: a die holder cleaning tool that includes a wiper for sweeping off dregs adhered on a dreg adhering area by slidingly contacting with the dreg adhering area of the die holder of a press brake; and a press brake that has a retreat part for the die holder cleaning tool on the same height level with the bottom face of the die holder fixing groove at least on one side of a lower table. In the cleaning method, the die holder cleaning tool is moved in the longitudinal direction and the dregs are swept off in the longitudinal direction of the die holder by the wiper.
