Abstract:
PURPOSE: To satisfactorily remove crystalline substances or the like deposited on the surface of a glass or the like by sticking a emery cloth or paper sheet to the surface of an independent foam sponge cut into size easily gripped by one's hand.
CONSTITUTION: A cleaning tool 1 suitably used for cleaning glass plates in windows or the like of a building is composed of uified independent foam sponge 2 and emery cloth or paper sheet 3 stuck to the surface thereof. For the emery cloth or paper sheet 3 is used one having abrasives such as diamond grains or the like deposited on the surface side of the sheet through resin. In a cleaning operation, the emery cloth or paper sheet 3 is first applied to the surface of the glass and then the surface of the glass is rubbed while using water to remove metal elements or the like crystallized and stuck to the surface of the glass in soot and rain water. After polishing, the sponge 2 is turned upside down to abut against the glass surface so that water on the glass surface is wiped off together with stains.
