Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool and a cleaning method for a propulsion device capable of improving work efficiency of cleaning work.SOLUTION: A cleaning tool 10 for a propulsion device 12 includes a storage unit 46 for storing a water intake port 26 and a cleaning liquid 44. An opening 52 for taking the water intake port 26 in and out is provided on an upper part of the storage unit 46. A vertical direction distance D (that is, depth of the storage unit 46) from an upper surface P of a bottom unit 46a of the storage unit 46 to an end edge Q of the opening 52 is determined so as to store, in the storage unit 46, an amount of the cleaning liquid 44 necessary for immersing the water intake port 26. When the respective insides of the water intake port 26 and a jet nozzle 28 are cleaned, first, the water intake port 26 and the cleaning liquid 44 are stored in the storage unit 46, and the water intake port 26 is immersed in the cleaning liquid 44. Next, by driving the propulsion device 12, the cleaning liquid 44 is absorbed from the water intake port 26 and the cleaning liquid 44 is sprayed from the jet nozzle 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
