The cleaning tool 10 for mounting the mop has: a mounting part 30 to which the mop 20 can be removably attached; and the handle portion 40 attached to the mounting part 30 so as to be elongated and contracted. The mounting part 30 can have the mop 20 mounted thereon, while having the flexible body 60 and a housing part formed in the body 60 for housing at least part of the contracted handle portion 40. In addition, the mounting part 30 is tabular and is formed in a hollow frame shape. The housing part can be located in the hollow portion.
