To provide a cleaning tool with high workability which has dust catching comb teeth, a plate for leveling carpet pile, and a handle.

This cleaning tool has a plate and comb teeth. First, pile is leveled by the plate placed in the moving direction of the cleaning tool, then the comb teeth are inserted deep into a material made of piled material such as a carpet to catch dust accumulated deep in the material. The comb teeth 1 are made of steel or a hard plastic, etc. Each tooth is a column of about 0.5 mm-1 mm in diameter, and its top is hemispherical. An optional plural number of teeth are arranged in a row at intervals between 0.5 mm and 1 mm. The top of the plate 2 is placed slightly above the top of the teeth with a small gap between them, and the whole width of the plate is the same as that of the toothed comb. The handle 3 shows an example of the application of the cleaning tool: a user can catch dust by grasping and pulling the handle.
